Beautiful, honest, personal and relatable (to artists and those who may not identify as such). Thanks, as always, for sharing your truth.

Funny how much can be done with minimal tools. I bet your drawing came as a surprise and got noticed by many after you left.

Indeed, though I did end up erasing the drawing on my way out. I thought about leaving it, but the washing off of the MassQ is such an important part of the process. So I went with leaving no trace.

I wondered if you "left no trace". I didn't know that washing off the MassQ is part of the ritual. Good luck with the Essex workshop.

Being in my 80s, I'd like to think I have found my path as an artist and am coming near the end of that path. I can't "do art" like I used to, but I find that I must create on a quieter, less stressful level, and that is always satisfying.

I am enjoying and appreciating your insights. they relate to beginnings and endings (or winding downs in my case).

And, of course, I do love watching your MassQing. That's what gives me motivation.

Edith, I hope to be more like you when I grow up! So glad you are enjoying the C.S.A. - here’s to more quiet art, we need more of it in today’s world.
